When life turns to the bad, there are three opportunities you can experience:

  1. See God at work
  2. Influence others.
  3. Experience a closer walk with Jesus.

This week we to continue to develop a spiritual habit called “Lectio Divina” (Spiritual Reading):

  • Reflect/Meditatio
  • Respond/Oratio
  • Rest/Contemplatio
  • Resolve/Incarnatio

Pastor Burkey & Pastor Travis have found Lectio Divina to be a powerful tool for them to hear God speaking into their daily life as each of them engages in His Word. Here are the guidelines that they use, and the following are six days of passages for this week:

Converging

Converge

“When there is a tendency to compartmentalize the spiritual and make it resident in a certain type of life only, the spiritual is apt gradually to be lost. When there is a tendency to integrate the spiritual and have all areas of life converge with the cross, the spiritual is apt gradually to grow.” – Flannery O’Connor
