Each day this week pray for someone you know who doesn’t know Jesus to come to know Him as Lord and Savior.
Dear God, You desire all people to come to know Jesus and be saved. Today I pray for ____________________ to be led by You to receive Jesus. Lord Jesus, I praise You for the life You gave on the cross, to forgive our sins and bring us into God’s family. Holy Spirit, open my awareness today to the opportunities You place before me to show Jesus in how I live and to share Jesus in what I say and how I listen. In His name I pray. Amen.

Day 1: Read Matthew 28:16-20. Why do you think God entrusted His work to people? How have you seen yourself as part of God’s missionary team? How do you see your position on God’s mission team today?
Day 2: Read Matthew 28:16-17. After Jesus rises from the dead, he meets His disciples in Galilee. Interesting that some worshiped Him, and some doubted. When do you find it easy to worship Jesus? What are some doubts you are facing? Take them to Jesus in prayer and ask for His guidance.
Day 3: Read Matthew 28:18. Notice Jesus doesn’t say “some authority” or even “most authority”. Jesus says, “all authority!” Where do you need to remind yourself today Jesus is in control?
Day 4: Read Matthew 28:19. A better translation of the word ”go” is “as you go”. The word go suggests headed to a specific destination. As you go is a reminder as you live life each day Jesus is present and wants to work through you to lead others to know Him. How have you seen Jesus working in your life this week? As you go through the day, remember Jesus is here! He is with you! Ask Him to guide you as you live out the day ahead!
Day 5: Read Matthew 28:20. Interesting Jesus doesn’t say go tell people instead He says to teach people. Who was your favorite teacher in school? What made that teacher so special? How might God be using you to teach instead someone about Jesus?
Day 6: Read Matthew 28:19-20. These verses are called the Great Commission. Jesus invitation to live life with Him and the challenge to share that life with others. As you have prayed for someone to come to know Jesus, continue to pray for them and for others to know Jesus. How has God used you this week on His missionary team? Where do you think He might lead you in the week ahead?
