In Him

Day 1: Read Colossians 1:15-16. What do you learn about Jesus in these verses? Jesus Christ is your source of strength. This means you don't have to tackle life with your own limited abilities and power. Jesus makes his unlimited power available to you. Where do you need to ask for His power to work in your life today?

Day 2: Read Colossians 1:11. What do you learn about Jesus in this verse? With Jesus in your life, you cannot lose. And the opposite is also true: Without Him in your life, you cannot win. Ask Jesus to see His presence at work in you today.

Day 3: Read Colossians 1:17-18. What do you learn about Jesus in these verses? Regardless of how chaotic your life may feel, Jesus can hold it together. As you face chaos in your life, Jesus will protect you every step of the way. Where is Jesus cultivating hope in your life? Where do you need Him to cultivate hope?

Day 4: Read Colossians 1:12. What do you learn about Jesus in this verse? Paul invites us to know how big Jesus is and how awesome the life Jesus offers to you. Paul wants us to grow in our faith in Jesus, that starts as small as a mustard seed and is planted to produce a powerful crop of growth. That growth happens as you develop a personal intimacy with Jesus. As you look back on the past 12 months, how have you seen your faith grow? What are some faith challenges you need to pray to Jesus about today?

Day 5: Read Colossians 1:19-20. What do you learn about Jesus in these verses? For Paul Jesus is so big that Jesus is the King to bring peace into our lives. Jesus does that through His blood shed on the cross and His conquering of death and the grave. How big is Jesus? So big you don't have to live your life feeling as if everything is spinning out of control, because he can and will hold all things together. What feels out of control, and you need to hand over to Jesus today? Try this prayer: Lord, I give everyone and everything to you. Then give it to Him!

Day 6: Read Colossians 1:13-14. What do you learn about Jesus in these verses? No matter how big the storm, Jesus can give you peace. Where do you need His peace today? His forgiveness? A greater awareness of His presence with you?

Your Heavenly Home

Heavenly home

Day 1: Read Revelation 7:9-10. Who is in heaven? How did they get there?

Day 2: Read Revelation 7:13-14. Anyone can go to Heaven, but faith in Jesus who shed His blood is the only way into Heaven. That’s why outreach is so vital. What person and/or people are you praying to come to know Jesus today? Tomorrow?

Day 3: Read Revelation 7:11-12. The key in reading Revelation is Heaven’s emphasis on God and His desire to be in an eternal relationship with you and me. How have you heard heaven described? How does that compare with John’s vision?

Day 4: Read Revelation 7:15. We are invited to see God in the beauty of creation. The psalmist invites us to see God in the desolations before us? What beauty leads you to praise God? What “desolations” lead you to recognize and rejoice in God’s presence with you?

Day 5: Read Revelation 7:16. Think of what John’s image of what Is never in heaven mean to people who live in a desert. What do they mean for you when you think of heaven?

Day 6: Read Revelation 7:17. Jesus is at the center of the throne of heaven. He also desires to be the center of the throne of your heart. What keeps him out of guiding your life? What makes you more open to following Jesus in life each day.

Our annual theme for 2022/2023 is "DEVOTED" from Acts 2:42.
